Doguet’s Diamond D Ranch Shines at International
Brangus Show

Doguet’s Diamond D Ranch, a longtime customer of Capital Farm Credit’s Dayton credit office, had a tremendous showing in the 2008 International Brangus Show at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

The ranch exhibited the grand champion International Brangus bull and the reserve grand champion International Brangus bull.

In the female division, Doguet’s won reserve grand champion International Brangus cow-calf pair. A heifer purchased from the ranch won grand champion Brangus in the Calf Scramble Show and went on to be named reserve champion of all the breeds. To add even more honors, the champion Brangus junior market steer was out of a Diamond D female. 

A Diamond D bull also captured the award for the “High Ranking Brangus Bull” and the “Overall High Selling Bull” at the South East Texas Independent Cattlemen’s Association Sale, which was co-sponsored by Capital Farm Credit. The bull was purchased by Harold Clubb of Beaumont, who is also a longtime Capital Farm Credit customer.
