Why Apply?

This prestigious contest celebrates outstanding emerging agribusiness owner-operators who demonstrate exceptional dedication in their field. Winners are selected based on their contributions to agriculture, financial integrity, leadership qualities, community involvement, commitment to ongoing education, and sustainable practices.

Contest Categories

With up to $50,000 in prize money available, the contest features two distinct categories:

Trailblazer Category (Trailblazer Award Criteria) - For individuals with 2 to 10 years of experience in farming, ranching, or agribusiness ownership. Applicants must be current or former Capital Farm Credit members.

Rising Star Category (Rising Star Award Criteria) - Designed for those with less than 2 years of experience managing their own agricultural operation or planning to start one within the calendar year. Membership with Capital Farm Credit is not required, but applicants must reside within Capital Farm Credit’s territory.

In each category, up to two winners will receive $10,000 prizes, and the top five finalists will each be awarded $1,000.

How to Apply

Applications are available for submission April 15, 2025, through June 20, 2025. Prepare to showcase your dedication and vision for agriculture!
