Clear Springs High School senior named Houston Market's Ag Student of the Week - Week 6

Current Ag involvement: I am an active member of the Clear Springs FFA and have served my chapter and district in various officer positions as well as being a Texas FFA Foundation Brand Ambassador.
I have enjoyed participating in many LDE and CDE events but being a member of my chapter’s wool judging team has been a favorite. I have had the opportunity to raise many projects including goats, lambs, and cattle, and have enjoyed showing at all the Texas Majors. For the past two years, I have been a part of the Miss United States Agriculture Pageant where I represent Galveston County. This position allows me the opportunity to advocate for agriculture. I share my experiences in FFA with everyone because I believe it is the best organization. After all, there is a seat for everyone at the table.
College Attending: Texas A&M (Agricultural Communications)
Career Goal: I have two passions, people and agriculture, and my dream is to study and major in agriculture communications where I can combine my two loves. FFA has been a huge part of my life for the past four years and has developed my desire to dedicate my career to the agriculture industry. In studying this field, I hope to use my talents to advocate for the industry I love by sharing my experiences and promoting agriculture endeavors to future generations.
