AgriRoots: Supporting Young, Beginning and Small Ag Operators
We believe helping a dream grow, no matter the size.
Young, beginning, and small (YBS) farmers and ranchers are critical to the future of agriculture, and yet producers are faced with more and more barriers when they get started in the agriculture industry. That’s where we step in.
Supporting Texas’ Young, Beginning, and Small agricultural producers is an important part of our mission at Capital Farm Credit. Our YBS loan programs provide agricultural financing and financial resources to the next generation of farmers and ranchers. Additionally, Capital Farm Credit contributes $1M annually in support of YBS efforts across Texas in the form of scholarships, sponsorships, and educational offerings. At Capital Farm Credit, we strive to educate, advocate, and guide our YBS producers through the process of operating a successful ag operation. Because cultivating YBS producers into full-time farmers and ranchers helps ensure the future of Texas agriculture.
Lending for young, beginning, and small producers through our AgriRoots loan programs.
Our lending programs were developed specifically to support new, beginning, or small producers with the loans, lines of credit and other financial services that are vital to helping you succeed. We also offer educational incentives and interest rate reductions to meet financing needs and support the development of important financial and business management skills.
Our AgriRoots loan programs support young and beginning producers, and tailors to their individual needs. Let’s find what's right for you.
