Farmer Veterans Tell Their Story in Washington
Farm Credit proudly supports rural communities and agriculture across the country. We're bringing our vital mission to life for policy makers in Washington, D.C. through live events that allow our customer-owners to tell their own Farm Credit story.
This week, with the help of veteran customer-owner Josh Eilers of Ranger Cattle and Austin credit office president Mark Rutledge, we proudly featured Farm Credit's commitment to help rural America's veterans successfully transition into farming and ranching.
July 11 and 12, Farm Credit and the Farmer Veteran Coalition joined over 30 farmer veterans (including Eilers) in celebrating their service and helping policy makers in Washington, D.C. understand the importance of programs that enable returning service members to forge meaningful relationships in agriculture.
