Capital Farm Credit is proud to introduce our 2020 interns.
Throughout the program students work within the daily operations of Capital Farm Credit's corporate and credit offices, gaining a working understanding of aspects including credit, human resources and business development.

Lauren Perkins
School: Texas A&M University, 2021
Hometown: Lampasas, Texas
Interests: I have always enjoyed being around the farm and ranch community and have grown to love the people and the meaning behind this lifestyle. I have a passion towards agriculture and want to do my part in ensuring it's future success.
Office Location: Round Rock, Texas
What I'm looking forward to: I'm looking forward to learning more about the farm credit system. I hope to do my part in helping the agricultural system meet their financial needs.
Brandon Root
School: University of Texas at San Antonio, 2021
Hometown: Richmond, Texas
Interests: My interests include participating in sporting activities such as golf and basketball and attending sporting events. I also love the outdoors and traveling to new and exciting places.

What I'm looking forward to: There are many things to look forward to in this internship, but the main thing I am looking forward to is being able to learn about Capital Farm Credit and the industry. I hope to gain as much knowledge as I can not only from my experience over the course of the internship, but from my superiors and my peers alike.
Colton Bourquin
School: 2020 Graduate of West Texas A&M University and First Year Graduate Student at Texas A&M University pursuing a Masters of Agribusiness

What I'm looking forward to: I look forward to learning the inter-workings of Capital Farm Credit and to be able to better serve the agriculture industry. I am excited to grow personally and professionally while interning this summer. Moving to the College Station/ Bryan area brings lots of new opportunities that excite me.
Eliane Wibara
School: Washington State University, 2021

Interests: Traveling, learning about cultures and languages, learning Finance, Economics and Math

What I'm looking forward to: I look forward to learning about the process by which small businesses and farmers acquire loans in order to finance their operations. I am most excited about being part of the Capital Farm Credit family and contributing to its growth and success.
Benjamin Bryant
School: Texas A&M University 2020 (2021 Masters)
Hometown: Waxahachie, TX
Interests: Collegiate Pistol Shooter for TAMU, a drummer and love to play for my church when I can, and I enjoy playing board games and hanging out with my friends.

What I'm looking forward to: I am excited to put the theory I have begun learning in my Economics Masters program into practice while learning about the risk and decision-making structure of Capital Farm Credit.
Gregor Keith Igler

What I'm looking forward to: I'm looking forward to the opportunity to be part of a highly respected organization and to learn from some of the best in the business. I am excited to improve my knowledge and skills in the field of credit and lending and to network with professionals in the industry.

What I'm looking forward to: I am looking forward to furthering and applying the skills I have gained in my classes and working with the people involved in the industry in West Texas.
Hayden Griffin
School: Senior, Abilene Christian University
Hometown: Quanah, Texas
Interests: I have played golf, hunted and fished basically since I could walk so I enjoy spending my free time on the golf course with my buddies or back home with my family hunting on our land. I will be getting married in June and my fiancée loves to fish so I love getting to go out and spend time with her on the water.

What I'm looking forward to: I am most excited for the opportunity to expand my knowledge about the financial side of the agriculture industry. I have grown up around farming and ranching but have never been able to dive deep into the business side of the industry, so this internship is a great opportunity to learn under knowledgeable people.
