On July 17, 1916, Congress passed legislation establishing the Farm Credit System. Its purpose — to be a reliable source of credit for farmers and ranchers. Today, more than a century later, Farm Credit Associations throughout the country continue to do just that.

At Capital Farm Credit, we do not deviate from our original mission. Sustaining agriculture and rural communities across the Lone Star State is the heartbeat of our cooperative. Today, and every day, we come to work to serve those who serve us. Farmers and ranchers protect our wellbeing by producing our food, fuel, and fiber. Together we celebrate a birthday that means something to all of us.
