Capital Farm Credit launches online Emerging Leaders Institute program

 In an effort to continue providing educational opportunities to agricultural producers, Capital Farm Credit recently launched its AgriRoots Emerging Leaders Institute, a free online educational offering for farmers and ranchers across Texas.

The Emerging Leaders Institute was created to bridge the gap between ag producers and experts within the industry to help build successful operations.  This six-course, self-paced program is designed to strengthen financial literacy and provide participants with the tools and resources needed to create a successful business plan and build a financial team.  

“Farmers and ranchers have been lifelong learners for generations,” said Jeff Norte, Capital Farm Credit chief executive officer. “Our best avenue of success can sometimes be learning from each other. Emerging Leaders connects agricultural producers from all levels to help enhance their skillset to continue bettering themselves in the ag industry. They are the leaders of tomorrow.”
