Capital Farm Credit announces retirement of Gary Palousek, Board of Director, after more than 20 years of service
Gary Palousek has announced his retirement from the Board of Directors of Capital Farm Credit effective November 18, 2024, after serving the Association for more than 20 years. Palousek served in many roles during his tenure, including his current leadership role as the chairman of the Compensation Committee. He has farmed in Willacy County, Texas for over 40 years.
“Gary has always exhibited the traits that I personally admire: mainly a big servant’s heart, high character, and a great family man,” Board Chairman John Malazzo shared. “Gary has always shown a desire to serve the stockholders to what he believes is best for them and their families. His predisposition has always been to serve, rather than to be served.”
Please join us in congratulating Gary, and his wife Carol, on a long, distinguished Farm Credit career and wishing them the very best in all present and future endeavors.
With Palousek’s retirement, the board of directors will determine the most appropriate process to fill the vacant seat in accordance with the association’s governance bylaws and announce that decision at a future date.
