Fuchs named president of the Austin Region

Senior Vice President of Lending and Relationship Managers Clint Cryer announced that Jason Fuchs will be replacing Wally Hinkle as president of the Austin Region. Hinkle will continue serving Capital Farm Credit for the next year, as he transitions toward retirement.
Fuchs, who has worked for Capital Farm Credit for nearly 26 years, has worked his way up through the sales ranks, recently serving as regional vice president of sales for the Texas Prairies submarket.
“Jason has served as a champion for many initiatives at Capital Farm Credit,” Cryer said. “He's somebody that I admire because he's continually committed to the process of continuous improvement.”
Fuchs has a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University. He has been married for 20 years to his wife, Sara. They have six children and enjoy watching them play football, softball, basketball, track, cross country, FFA, 4-H and band. He also coaches t-ball for his two youngest children.
Replacing Fuchs will be Trey Brooks, relationship manager who recently was honored with a Rock Star award.
“Trey has been a top producer across the Association for several years,” Cryer said. “He's really, over the last couple of years, developed his leadership acumen through his leading of several initiatives – the most recent of which is his role in developing, leading out and implementing the Capital Advantage over the past year.”
Brooks has been with Capital Farm Credit for 10 years and has served in a variety of roles, including starting as an intern in the Fredericksburg office and in San Saba and Burnet offices.
Brooks has a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and Animal Science from Texas A&M University. He has been married for eight years to his wife, Taylor, and they have two children.
Hinkle will continue serving CFC for the next year. In an announcement to the Austin Region, he thanked his peers for all their hard work and accomplishments over the past few years.
“It has been extremely fulfilling for me over the last five years to personally continue my growth path with this team,” Hinkle said. “I want to voice my support for Jason and congratulate him on the opportunity that he has earned, and to Trey as well."
